I cannot believe that I have been here for one week and a day already! I can much less believe that Christmas is the day after tomorrow. This whole moving process has been such a whirlwind and so eagerly anticipated for so long that I have to pinch myself whenever I say I live in Colorado instead of Virginia (I admit I still feel like I am on a really long vacation when I drive around and see mountains!). My dad and I road-tripped cross country, it was a lot of fun and a once in a lifetime trip!!! (I will try to blog some pics later). We drove 2400 miles!!! Seriously cray-cray but fun. I’ve also been living out of a bag/box for about 3 weeks so to finally have an actual closet with tons of clothes is a bizarre concept to me. We have been slowly piecing together our apartment and making it feel like home – I took some before photos of the chaos so hopefully I can do a before and after blog post next year.
So lets talk photos. Today’s blog is my first adventure in Colorado. Adam took me to explore Golden which is about 20 minutes from where we live. It is a really cute town but since we arrived later in the day and were famished after our mini hike/drive to Lookout Mountain I didn’t really take too many photos (except a few on Instagram). So here are my photos from the drive up Lookout Mountain 🙂
Ps: Our apartment faces east so every morning we get to see the most incredible sunrises 🙂 Totally worth getting up early for!
