Fall is here and photos documenting its beauty are a MUST. Over Columbus Day weekend I visited my parents in Greensboro, NC. Adam joined us on Saturday and Sunday we headed to Childress Vineyards in Lexington, NC for a family lunch. It was a very “wintery” feeling day, cloudy, foggy, rainy and COLD. Somehow it made experiencing lunch here more dreamy since I love foggy days. You can enjoy the view of the property from their Bistro while enjoying a bite to eat and a glass of wine.
After lunch (Margherita Pizza with Prosciutto for me) we walked around the property checking out the beautiful pond with fountain and pretty trees. We walked near the grapes and took some photos. It was a great way to spend some family time 🙂 Have you ever been to Childress Vineyards? If so, what time of year were you here?
After attempting to take this big family selfie below, I have determined that I really need a selfie stick 😉 LOL
Not many grapes left since they have been harvested already.
These grape vines were the only red ones so a selfie in front of them was a MUST!
