I normally find myself to be too lazy to make any mixed drink recipe and will usually resort to a nice and relatively inexpensive bottle of wine. This Spring, however, I was inspired by a blood orange soda that I had at a friend’s house and decided to try this new mixed drink recipe that I call fizzy Spring 🙂 because Spring is fizzy ya know? (Things growing, colors popping, new life, full of vibrancy). I was able to use fresh mint from my garden which made me super happy! I love having fresh herbs on hand. What I also love about this mixed drink recipe is the pomegranate seeds! I love biting into them and enjoying that big burst of juicy flavor! Pomegranate seeds have become my latest addiction 🙂 Yum!
I hope you enjoy this colorful drink as much as I have 🙂 <3
- ½cup San Pellegrino Aranciata Rosa (Blood Orange soda which can be purchased at the World Market)
- ½cup Prosecco (Trader Joe's)
- 1tbsp Pomegranate Seeds
- 2-3 Mint Leaves
- Rinse the mint leaves and pomegranate seeds (if the seeds were pre-packaged). Chill the Prosecco and Aranciata Rosa soda in the fridge for about 2 hours before serving since this drink is best enjoyed cold. Mix the Aranciata Rosa, Prosecco and Pomegranate seeds together in your favorite glass and garnish with the mint leaves. Enjoy 🙂
