This was a tasty and quick recipe from the Cooking with Trader Joe’s Cookbook (Vegetarian). No I am not vegetarian but there are some really yummy recipes in here; I have the none vegetarian version as well 🙂
I love buying the frozen Gyoza from Trader Joe’s. My parents had tried the Asian Dumpling Soup from this book before and said it was really good. Believe it or not, it was actually quite chilly here this past Friday so I made this nice hot soup for Adam and I to enjoy.

I used Thai Shrimp Gyoza because that is what I had in the freezer. Trader Joe’s sells veggie Gyoza too.
I had a bag of stir fry veggies that needed to be used so I used the whole bag instead of the indicated amount.
I added Soy Sauce to taste and I used Chicken Broth instead of Veggie broth because it too needed to be used (I am cleaning out my freezer and pantry lol).
I also added the “optional” egg.
